PT IEG offers two types of weight controllers that can be equipped with a Data Collector: the SpeedAC NXT hardware unit and the SpeedAC PLC software. The Data Collector is a software application that allows you to collect data from a weigh scale, a checkweigher, or a Valve Bagger.
These data are then stored on a computer in a Comma Separated Values (CSV) file. A CSV file is a standard text file format that can be easily imported into any data analysis, spreadsheet, or reporting software. The Data Collector is installed on a stand-alone computer that uses an Ethernet network link with the PT IEG equipment.
The collected data can include either all weighments (both the checked and the unchecked ones) or only the checked weighments. The second option is available only with the latest version of the program. |
