  PDMS - Production Data Management Systems

 

  The PDMS is a data management system that was developed to monitor the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) of individual equipment or complete production lines. This simple tool collects production data from a machine PLC and regroups them into visual indicators based on the OEE calculation.

OEE is an effective measurement that helps improve the efficiency of a manufacturing process by optimizing human and equipment resources. The PDMS helps production supervisors and plant managers to recognize improvement opportunities and monitor line efficiency in order to achieve lower costs, greater flexibility, and higher profits.
