In keeping with its mission of becoming a technological and commercial leader, Premier Tech is pleased to announce the acquisition of Bag Treatment Holland (BTH), whose corporate office is in Eersel in the Netherlands. Premier Tech thus integrates the renowned expertise of some 90 skilled people to its team which now exceeds 1 700 worldwide. Through this transaction, the company strengthens the position of its Industrial Equipment Group in the field of industrial flexible packaging on the European market. The merger of BTH with Chronos Richardson, an existing business unit of Premier Tech, will create, on October 1, 2009, a leader in the field of industrial flexible packaging in Europe, which will from then operate under the name of Chronos BTH, both in Europe and Asia.

This division, located in Salt Lake City, U.S.A., manufactures and markets packaging equipment, and is specialized in valve bag filling systems.

New rooms are now ready for use at Premier Tech’s International Corporate Office: a new four-story building was inaugurated on December 8, 2008. Premier Tech is pleased to announce today that it has put in place a $10 million financing deal with its guaranteed long-term lenders: RoyNat Inc, Farm Credit Canada and Business Development Bank of Canada. This amount brings back the loan balance with its financial partners to $60 million, which is equivalent to the long-term loan that was put in place with them in February 2007.
Premier Tech Systems (PTS), an authorized FANUC integrator, took part in the 2009 FANUC Integrator Conference that was recently held in Orlando, Florida. All FANUC integrators from North and South America were invited. More than one hundred people representing integrators from the US, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil were present to learn about new products and services from FANUC Robotics.
